- 150g Caster Sugar
- 150g Margarine
- 150g Self Raising Flour
- 3 Eggs
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder
- 1 Tbsp Hot Water
- 2 Tbsp Caramel Coffee
- For Coffee Filling:
- 225g Icing Sugar
- 100g Cubed Butter
- 1 Tbsp Coffee
- 1 Tbsp Hot Water

Step 1
Preheat oven 180c / 350F / Gas Mark 4.
Step 2
Then mix butter and sugar together until creamed.
Step 3
Then you want to add the flour and baking powder slowly to a smooth mixture then add one egg at a time mixed well.
Step 4
Then in a cup, be careful, add the 1 tbsp of hot water and the coffee and mix together then add the coffee mixture to the cake mix. Giving the cake the caramel coffee taste.
Step 5
You then want to place mixture into two round cake tins and cook for 25 minutes.
Step 6
Leave to cool completely.
Step 7
To make the butter icing filling mix the icing sugar, butter and coffee mixture together and place into the middle of the cake.
