Preparation

Step 1

Prepare the pastry by mixing the flour, sugar, diced butter and salt. Add a little water to form a ball, then film and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Step 2

Take the dough out of the fridge, roll out into a circle on baking paper and place in tin. Then pre-cook for + or - 20 minutes at 200 ° C.

Step 3

Meanwhile, prepare the custard: In a bowl, whisk the yolks with the sugar until the mixture whitens. Add the flour and 100ml of milk 100.

Step 4

Heat the remaining milk in a saucepan with the vanilla powder. Once hot, add to the first preparation.

Step 5

Mix with a whisk until the custard has thickened well and remove from the heat.

Remove the pastry from the oven, leave to cool on a rack.

Step 6

Meanwhile, wash the strawberries, remove the stems and cut into 2 lengthwise.
Spread the custard on the pastry, add the strawberries and place in the fridge until serving.
